Webinar Details:  Product development in dry powder inhalation using capsules has grown exponentially around the world as formulators recognize the cost and flexibility advantages, especially for emerging markets. This webinar will overview new product and generic development (challenges and opportunities) and identify specific devices and capsules available for customization based on drug requirements. Specific targets for this webinar include inhalation product developers, especially those focusing in generics and working for emerging market applications.

This 1-hour webinar will consist of a PowerPoint presentation along with opportunities for you to ask questions.

Presenter Information:  Dr. Matt Richardson is the Manager of Pharmaceutical Business Development in pharmaceutical technologies with Capsugel. He completed his Bachelor of Science in Chemistry at Wofford College and his Ph.D. at Wake Forest University in synthetic organic and organometallic chemistry. Prior to joining Capsugel in 2005, he worked in the field of process development and scale-up of pharmaceuticals.

Dr. Burak Özsöğüt is the Assistant General Manager at Neutec Pharmaceuticals in Turkey. He graduated from Hacettepe University as a pharmacist and completed his Ph.D. at Cardiff University, UK, on Health Outcome Research. He started his career in a Turco-French CRO, mainly working on bioequivalence studies as a Quality Assurance Manager. He later joined a major Turkish generic company as Project Manager for developing generic products. He then transitioned to Yeditepe University, Istanbul, Turkey, where he was an Assistant Professor at the Research Centre on Pharmakokinetics. He joined Neutec Pharmaceuticals 9 years ago to lead inhalation products development projects. For the last 3 years, he has run all of Neutec Pharmaceuticals inhalation business.
