A case study describes the human factors methodology followed in development of a novel capsule-based dry powder inhaler
This case study presents the methodology followed by Hovione to include human factors engineering principles into device development from the early stages. It illustrates the impact of integrating patient-focused testing during the inhaler device design. This approach also fulfills a critical regulatory requirement in drug/device combination applications.
