This new guideline provides recommendations to determine how and when to step up treatment of uncontrolled asthma.

A new guideline named the “Pediatric Asthma Yardstick” has been published by the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (ACAAI). The authors consider it “a roadmap,” intended to provide practical and clinically relevant recommendations that advise how and when treatment should be stepped up for children with uncontrolled asthma.
