DDL2023 will be presented live at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre (EICC), and virtually, on Wednesday through Friday December 6-8, 2023. Now in its 34th year, DDL features presentations, posters, an exhibition and networking opportunities.

The Annual Lecture will be presented by Daniela Traini, professor in respiratory science at Macquarie University and The Woolcock Institute of Medical Research (Australia).

The program will focus on the following themes:
       • Lung health
       • Emerging therapeutics
       • Digital technologies
       • Novel formulations and process technology

The Association of Inhalation Toxicologists (AIT) will present a workshop at the EICC on the morning of Wednesday, December 6, prior to the conference. Titled "Pre-clinical development–Back to Basics," the workshop will focus on scientific and regulatory safety requirements for developing new inhaled drug molecules, excipients and inhaled products. Topics will include technical aspects of the generation, characterization, administration and dosimetry of aerosols in toxicology studies.
